How to Get to Nukubati
Although remote, Nukubati Island is easily accessible.
Fiji’s international airport at Nadi is serviced by many international airlines, with frequent flights from North America, Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand.
From Nadi International Airport, it is only a two hour journey to Nukubati Island – The first leg is a 40 minute flight on Fiji’s domestic airline, Fiji Link, to Fiji’s northern capital town, Labasa, where you will be met by Nukubati’s transport for the second leg, a one hour adventurous drive to Nukubati Landing. The third leg is a five-minute boat ride to the island. This two-hour journey to Nukubati Island from Nadi Airport compares favourably with the 3 or 4 hour trips to most other resorts in Fiji.

Our driver will meet you at Labasa Airport and take you on an hour’s drive, up and down mountains, along unsealed roads, through coconut plantations and rice paddys, passing the high chief’s village, until you reach Nukubati Landing. From there it is a short 5 minute boat ride to the island where, from the moment you step onto the white sandy beach, you will feel the romance and adventure of the South Pacific.
