TERMS & CONDITIONS

THE COMPANY/THE CONSULTANT

In this contract document, reference is made to THE COMPANY, which refers to Nukubati Private Island, Great Sea Reef, Fiji. Any reference to THE CONSULTANT REFERS to any person appointed by the Company to be responsible for certain functions – i.e.: Marketing Consultant.

PERIOD COVERED

The attached rates cover the period up to 31 March 2018

GUESTS

Nukubati is a couples only resort and does not accept guests below the age of sixteen years. Nukubati is available for island charter and in this case will accept guests of any age.

LENGTH OF STAY

Nukubati Private Island has a minimum stay requirement of 5 nights. To fully experience Nukubati, a 7 night stay highly recommended.

CHECK IN/ CHECK OUT TIMES

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT times are very flexible on the day and depend on arrival/departure flight times

TRAVEL INSURANCE

It is strongly recommended that guests take out Comprehensive Travel Insurance.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

DEPOSIT:  A non refundable deposit of US$1,000.00 is required within 7 days of booking.

BALANCE: Full payment is to be received FORTY-FIVE DAYS prior to arrival.

Any other arrangements regarding payment procedures MUST be agreed in writing by the Company.

PAYMENT METHOD

We accept the following cards: Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

FIJI GOVERNMENT TAX

All  rates are subject to 25% Fiji Government Taxes

RATE SUBJECT TO CHANGE

The Company reserves the right to adjust rates for events beyond the control of the Company; i.e. changes in tax or exchange rates if same is raised /lowered by the actions of any Government.

GUEST RESPONSIBILITY

Please be advised that the Company will NOT accept any responsibility for any guest’s loss of or damage to personal equipment and property whilst staying at the Resort, alternatively, during participation in any activity. Guests are required to follow any directions, which may be given whilst staying at the Resort or participating in activities.

The Company will NOT accept responsibility for any injuries, which occur to guests whilst staying at the Resort or due to participation in any activity either on or off the island.

The Company will NOT accept any responsibility for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience which may be caused  directly or indirectly by events outside of the Company’s control such as late arrival of the Domestic or International flights, civil disturbances, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government, or failure of any machinery or equipment.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations must be made and received by the resort IN WRITING by email and confirmed by the Company

Deposit:  Strictly Non-refundable.

45 days or less and more than 14 days notice:  50% cancellation fee for every night cancelled

Less than 14 days notice:  100% cancellation fee for every night cancelled.

No Shows or days not used resulting from late arrival or premature departure: No refund given.

We strongly recommend appropriate insurance protection.

AMENDMENT OR POSTPONEMENT OF AN EXISTING BOOKING

Should an amendment or postponement of an existing booking occur within the cancellation periods, the cancellation fees will NOT BE WAIVED UNLESS THE SPACE IS RESOLD or the Resort agrees to another form of fee structure.
