TERMS & CONDITIONS

THE COMPANY/THE CONSULTANT
In this contract document, reference is made to THE COMPANY, which refers to Nukubati Private Island, Great Sea Reef, Fiji. Any reference to THE CONSULTANT REFERS to any person appointed by the Company to be responsible for certain functions - i.e.: Marketing Consultant.
The attached rates cover the period April 01st 2012 to March 31st, 2014.
LENGTH OF STAY
Nukubati Island has a minimum stay requirement of 5 nights. To fully experience Nukubati Island, a 7 night stay highly recommended
Nukubati Island Reservations Department will provide a written confirmation/invoice. Reservations for travel within 30 days will be confirmed with an OPTION of FOUR WORKING DAYS and should the reservation not be confirmed to the Company within that period, the reservation will automatically be cancelled.
CHECK IN/ CHECK OUT TIMES
CHECK IN - 11.00am CHECK OUT - 9.00 am
As check out time is 9.00am; the early occupancy of a bure is on request basis only. Your clients are more than welcome to make use of the facilities at Nukubati and their luggage will be stored until their Bure becomes available.
In order to guarantee early morning check-in, we recommend that the accommodation be reserved one night prior to arrival.
A late check out is available, subject to availability.
A dayroom with shower and changing facilities is available subject to availability.
Should you wish to guarantee a late check out, it is necessary to pre-book and pay the applicable rate.
It is strongly recommended that clients take out Comprehensive Travel Insurance.
DEPOSIT: A non refundable deposit of US$1,000.00 is required within 7 days of booking.
BALANCE: Full payment is to be received (45) DAYS prior to the client’s arrival.
Any other arrangements regarding payment procedures MUST be agreed in writing by the Company.
All reservations must be fully prepaid at least 10days prior to the guests arrival. LATE BOOKINGS: Exceptions are made only to last minute’s bookings but will have to be received immediately thereafter. Any other arrangements regarding payment MUST be agreed to by the Company in writing.

FIJI GOVERNMENT TAX
All rates are subject to 20% Fijian Government Taxes
RATE SUBJECT TO CHANGE
The Company reserves the right to adjust rates for events beyond the control of the Company; i.e. changes in tax or exchange rates if same is raised /lowered by the actions of any Government.
Please be advised that the Company will NOT accept any responsibility for any guests’ loss of or damage to personal equipment and property whilst staying at the Resort, alternatively, during participation in any activity. Guests are required to follow any directions, which may be given whilst staying at the Resort or participating in activities.
The Company will NOT accept responsibility for any injuries, which occur to guests whilst staying at the Resort or due to participation in any activity either on or off the island.
The Company will NOT accept any responsibility for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience which may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside of the Company’s control such as late arrival of the Domestic or International flights, civil disturbances, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government, or failure of any machinery or equipment.
CANCELLATIONS - F.I.T. BOOKINGS
Cancellations must be made and received by the resort or its representatives IN WRITING.
Deposit: Strictly Non-refundable.
45 days or less and more than 14 days notice: 50% cancellation fee for every night cancelled
Less than 14 days notice: 100% cancellation fee for every night cancelled.
No Shows or days not used resulting from late arrival or premature departure: No refund given.
We strongly recommend appropriate insurance protection.
AMENDMENT OR POSTPONEMENT OF AN EXISTING BOOKING
Should an amendment or postponement of an existing booking occur within the cancellation periods, the cancellation fees will NOT BE WAIVED UNLESS THE SPACE IS RESOLD or the Resort agrees to another form of fee structure.
