From Nadi International Airport to Nukubati Island.
A 40 minute flight on domestic airline Pacific Sun (www.pacificsun.com.fj) from Nadi to Labasa Airport (note: baggage limit is 15kg per person), followed by a 1hour 4WD overland to Nukubati jetty for a five minute crossing by speedboat to Nukubati Island.

A wedding at Nukubati is truly an unforgettable experience. Weddings are usually held at sunset on the beach or any one of a number or romantic locations on the island.
Two Fijian warriors escort the bride to the groom; you also have the option of being transported by a Fijian wedding raft decorated with flowers. The warriors gently sail you to your waiting groom.

| LICENCE |
Allow 3 working days at Nukubati prior to your wedding to obtain marriage licence. Our staff take you to the Labasa Registrar?s Office on a weekday to sign the relevant papers. To obtain the Marriage Licence, passports and birth certificates are required and in the case of a second marriage, either a Decree Nisi or Death certificate as applicable. The couple are to attend the Registry Office in person to complete the legalities. Fijian Law requires that both parties be over 21 years. Please note that weddings cannot be held on Saturday or Sunday. |

Nukubati offers diving on the Great Sea Reef. Fully supervised dive groups have kept surrounding reefs in pristine condition. Visibility ranges from 18m to 50m, all dives are accompanied by PADI Dive Masters. Lunch and/or snacks are provided also.

| 3. SURFING |
Several, superb reef passes are situated a comfortable 15-20 minute boat ride from the Resort, while other epic surf spots are just waiting to be discovered. Nukubati has surf only between the months of November and March. This is when the swells come across the Pacific from the north to create exciting surf conditions on the Great Sea Reef. Interestingly these are the same swells that create the famous surf on the north shore of Oahu in Hawaii. For surfing – Boat Charter rates apply. |
