meke (dance)

The Fijian dance, or Meke, is about telling a story. Having no written history, Meke is a way to account our history and a good time for all. During your stay the staff of Nukubati will present Meke Night, followed by stories and laughter around the kava bowl. Also enjoy the sounds of our Nukubati serenaders who strum and sing old Fijian classics. A great night to sit back and soak in some good Fijian traditions.
